Unsere neue Just Magnolia Challenge ist "So Charming", d.h. es sollen Charms für die Karte benutzt werden. Da meine neuen Magnolia Pet/Animal Collection Stempel gerade bei mir ankamen, habe ich doch gleich mal die süße Reitertilda in Szene gesetzt:

Our new Just Magnolia challenge is "So Charming" which means that you have to use charms for your card. I received my new Magnolia Pet/Animal Collection stamps this week so I used the cute Tilda with Halster for a little scene:

Alle verwendeten Stempel sind von Magnolia. Die kleine "Tilda with Halster" fand ich total niedlich, die musste ich unbedingt kaufen, da ich "Brunte" (das Pferd) ja bereits hatte. Die Box habe ich einfach aus dem Verkaufsstand (Old Stand) aus der Summer & Sea 2008 Collection gemacht. Den Spruch hatte ich mir auch gerade gekauft, da Brunte lächelt, fand ich ihn hier sehr passend.

All stamps I've used are from Magnolia. I really love "Tilda with Halster" and just had to buy her for "Brunte" (the horse) which I already had. I made the box from the "Old Stand" (Summer & Sea 2008 collection). The sentiment is a new one and I loved it for this card because Brunte is smiling.

Zu einem Pferd passt ein Apfel-Charm jawohl mehr als gut. Ich habe den Apfel an ein Herz gehängt und da ich noch Platz für mehrere Charms hatte, habe ich den Stern mit "Just for You" und das Herz mit "Made with Love" gleich mit angehängt.

An apple-charm is more than good for a horse, don't you think? I hung it on a heart charm and added a start with "Just for You" and a heart with "Made with Love" to it, too.

Das Designpapier ist von Cosmo Cricket, ich brauchte passend zum Apfel halt "rotes" Papier. Brunte habe ich zu einem Pinto gemacht, ich liebe gescheckte Pferde! Hach, ich würde auch gerne mal wieder reiten gehen! Als Kind war ich jede Woche reiten, sogar noch als Jugendliche ;)

The pattern paper is from Cosmo Cricket. I needed something that matched to the red apple. I colored Brunte as a Pinto horse. I love these horses! I would love to ride a horse again after all these years! As a child I was riding horses every week and also as I was a teen ;)

Sneak Peek - AmyR Stamps Butterfly

Heute möchte ich euch das neue AmyR Stamps "Butterfly" Set vorstellen. Es handelt sich hierbei um ein vielseitig einsetzbares Set bestehend aus jeder Menge verschiedener Schmetterlinge und wunderschönen Sprüchen. Dieses Set wird am Montag bei All That Scraps herausgebracht werden!

Today I want to show you a little sneak peek of AmyR's new "Butterfly" set. It's a well-rounded set with a lot of different butterflies and beautiful sentiments. It will be released on Monday night at All That Scraps.

Als ich das Set das erste Mal sah, wusste ich gar nicht so recht, wie ich damit arbeiten soll. Ich liebe es ja Motive zu colorieren, bei den Schmetterlingen allerdings kam mir diese Idee gar nicht. In den letzten Tagen schoss mir dann diese Idee in den Kopf, eine simple weiße Karte mit embossten Linien und bunten Schmetterlingen. Gesagt, getan!

As I saw this set for the first time I didn't know what I could do for the sneak peek. I love to color images but I didn't thought about coloring these butterflies. The last days I finally got the idea to make a simple white card with some embossing and varicolored butterflies. That's it!

Ich hatte noch weißen untrukturierten A5 Cardstock, also habe ich ihn in der Mitte gefaltet und darum habe ich dieses Mal auch eine Karte im A6 Format gemacht. Dann habe ich mir einige der Schmetterlinge aus Amys neuem "Butterfly" Set ausgesucht und diese mit verschiedenen ColorBox Chalk Kissen aufgestempelt. Dabei habe ich darauf geachtet, dass die Schmetterlinge alle in einem bestimmten Bereich abgestempelt sind, denn ich habe später mit dem ScorPal noch einen Rand gefalzt. Leider kann ich den nicht wirklich auf den Bilder wiedergeben, echt schade!

I found some white plain Cardstock in the size A5 in my stash and folded it to the half. This is why my card has this size (A6). Then I've chosen some butterflies from Amy's new "Butterfly" set and stamped them with ColorBox Chalk ink pads. I paid attention to the space I used to stamp the butterflies on because later I used my ScorPal to made an embossed line around them. You can't see that frame on my pics well, what a pitty!

Der tolle Spruch ist ebenfalls aus dem neuen "Butterfly" Set, ich habe in einfach in lila direkt auf den Cardstock gestempelt. Da das Layout noch zu einfach war, habe ich mit dem ScorPal noch Linien gefalzt, ein passendes Ribbon befestigt, Strasssteine aufgeklebt und den kleinen Schmetterling noch einmal in grün gestempelt und mit 3D Pads auf die geprägten Linien geklebt.

The wonderful sentiment is also from the new "Butterfly" set. I stamped it directly to the white cardstock. Because the layout still was too simple I made some more embossed lines with the ScorPal and added matching ribbon, gemstones and a litte green butterfly with dimensionals.

Den lilanen Schmetterling hatte ich ebenfalls extra gestempelt, ausgeschnitten und in 3D aufgesetzt, damit das "Motiv" interessanter wirkt. Während ich diese für mich total ungewöhnliche Karte gemacht habe, hatte ich noch jede Menge anderer Ideen für das neue "Butterfly" Set von AmyR. Man könnte die Schmetterlinge auf Schrumpffolie stempeln und schrumpfen oder mit einem Staz-On Kissen auf Folie aufstempeln und ausschneiden oder auch nicht ausschneiden ;) Oder man kann die Schmetterlinge auch einfach in schwarz/braun stempeln und richtig colorieren. So viele Möglichkeiten!

I also stamped the purple butterfly extra, cut it out and added it with foam pads. I think it makes the "image" more interesting. While I was sitting on this for me different card I had a lot of new ideas for the new AmyR "Butterfly" set. You could use shrink plastic for them. Or stamp them on acetate in pastel colors, cut them out or not. Or you could stamp them as usual in black/brown and color them the way you normally color images. So many possibilities!

Und guckt doch mal, was die anderen DT Mädels sich ausgedacht haben! Auf dem ATS Blog könnt ihr ein paar Beispiele sehen und das neue Set auch gewinnen. Ich weiß noch nicht genau, ob ich euch morgen neben der neuen JM Challengekarte auch eine Sneak Karte zeigen werde, je nachdem wie viel Lust und Zeit ich heute Abend zum stempeln haben werde. Aber am Samstag geht es auf jeden Fall gleich mit zwei wirklich schönen neuen Sets weiter!

I don't know if I will show you another sneak peek tomorrow beside my card for the new JM Challenge. I will see how much fun and time I will have left today evening. But on Saturday I will definately be back with a sneak for two wonderful new sets!

Zwei Tage habe ich jetzt noch Urlaub und dann Wochenende, bevor der Alltag hier wieder losgeht. Ihr glaubt gar nicht wie sehr ich meine Zeit zu Hause genieße. Dass es so heiß ist, stört mich momentan wenig, denn ich habe eh keine Lust großartig etwas zu unternehmen. Ich bin einfach froh zu Hause sein zu dürfen und einfach mal so vor mich hintüddeln zu können! Heute werden wir aber nochmal losdüsen und nach ein paar Klamotten Ausschau halten. Danach besuchen wir dann meine Großeltern in ihrem Garten. Bei diesem Wetter optimal! Mal sehen, ob wir auch ein paar Schmetterlinge sehen, um wieder auf das eigentliche Postingthema zurückzukomen *grins*.

I have two free days left of my holidays and a weekend before the normal life starts again. You won't believe how I enjoy my time at home. I don't mind that it is so hot outside because I don't have a fancy to do any short trips or something like this at the time. I am lucky to stay at home doing things I really want to do! Today we will go out for some shopping. Maybe we will get some new clothes. After that we will visit my grandparents in their garden. I think this is perfect weather for this! Let's see if there will be some butterflies, to get back to the post's theme *grin*.

Sneak Peek - Itzie Inkies Chasing Butterflies

Heute starten wir bei All That Scraps wieder mit den Vorschauen auf die neuen Sets, die am Montag, den 05. Juli herauskommen. Das erste Set, welches ich euch heute vorstellen möchte, ist das neue "Itzie Inkies - Chasing Butterflies" Set. Dieses Set ist von der neuen Designerin Diem Pascarella für C.C. Designs entworfen worden.

Today the sneak peeks for the new July sets are starting at All That Scraps. The new sets will be released on Monday July 5th. The first set I want to show you is the new "Itzie Inkies - Chasing Butterflies" set. The new animals are illustrated by C.C. Design's newest designer Diem Pascarella.

Ich habe mich für den kleinen Fuch aus dem neuen "Chasing Butterflies" Set entschieden und ihn mit Hilfe der Whiff of Joy Wiese in Szene gesetzt. Wie süß ist er bitte? Neben dem knuffigen Fuchs sind noch eine Katze, zwei Schmetterlinge und zwei Sprüche in dem neuen Set enthalten. Einen der Schmettis und einen Spruch habe ich auch gleich für meine Karte verwendet.

I decided to take the little fox from the new "Chasing Butterflies" set first and made a little scene using the Whiff of Joy meadow. How cute is this little fox? Beside this cutie there are a cat, two butterflies and two sentiments coming with this new set. I used one of the butterflies and sentiments for my card, too.

Da ein Fuchs ja rotoranges Fell hat, brauchte ich erst einmal das passende Designpapier. Zum Glück hatte ich mir ein paar Bögen aus der wunderschönen My Mind's Eye Serie "Bloom & Grow" gekauft, das passte hier optimal. Außerdem habe ich dadurch mal wieder eine ganz neue Farbkombination erhalten, die ich sonst so nie genutzt hätte.

As a fox has red fur I needed matching papers. What a luck that I bought some sheets of the beautiful My Mind's Eye "Bloom & Grow" series, this is perfect for the little fox. And I found a new colorcombination with it! Never would have used this colors together without the papers!

Manchmal ist es gut, wenn man alte Sachen aufbewahrt! Ich hatte ja eine Menge meiner alten Charms verkauft (als sie out waren), aber den Schmetterling und die kleinen Pfoten hatte ich behalten. Hier passten sie optimal dazu! Ich habe sie mit orangenem Scrapper's Floss befestigt.

Sometimes it's good to keep old things even if they are out. I sold a lot of my charms while they were out but not that little butterfly and the little paws. How cool are these for this card? I added them with orange Scrapper's Floss.

Für den Spruch habe ich wieder meinen Lieblings-Spellbinder genommen. Er ist aus dem Ribbon Tag Trio. Hier seht ihr auch, dass ich in hellem grau Wolken im Hintergrund aufgemalt habe, damit der Hintergrund nicht so weiß ist.

I used my fave Spellbinders for the sentiment. It's the Ribbon Tag Trio set. On this pic you can also see that I have some lightgrey clouds in the background of the image. I didn't like white backgrounds much.
