Gartenszene mit Möhren

Im Urlaub Anfang Mai habe ich meine neuen (alten) Sarah Kay Stempel erhalten. Ich hatte damals fast alle Sarah Kay Stempel verkauft, irgendwie hatte ich sie über und mit dem Thema Garten konnte ich damals nicht viel anfangen. Na ja, jetzt kann ich damit etwas anfangen und so habe ich mir kurzerhand drei der alten schönen Gartenmotive in NL wieder bestellt, weil es die hier gar nicht mehr gab. Natürlich musste ich ein Motiv auch gleich einweihen und habe eine kleine Gartenszene damit gestempelt. Nur zum Aquarellieren kam ich erst jetzt. Dazu brauche ich halt Zeit ;)

Das Gartenhaus und die Möhren sind von Penny Black, der Baum und die Steinchen sind von ArtImpressions und das Gras ist von Darcies. Die kleinen Schmetterlinge und die Banner sind Stanzen von C.C. Designs. Coloriert habe ich mit Albrecht Dürer Aquarellstiften. Auf einen Spruch habe ich dieses Mal verzichtet.

Auch ich habe heute eine kleine Vorschau für euch und zwar eines der neuen Sarah Kay Motive namens "Laura and Henri". Den Lesezeichenrohling habe ich mit der Cricut aus Bazzill Dot Cardstock geschnitten und die Papierlayer dann einfach angepasst. Das Designpapier habe ich an den Rändern mit Crackle Paint Picket Fence bemalt. Der Spruch ist aus dem neuen Tina Wenke "With Love" Set und mit einer der  Memory Box Primo Label Stanzformen ausgestanzt. Dekoriert habe ich das Tag mit Papierrosen, Spitze und braunen Glitzersteinen. Laura und Henri habe ich mit Aquarellstiften coloriert, ausgeschnitten und direkt auf das Designpapier geklebt.

I also have a little sneak peek for you, it's one of the new Sarah Kay stamps called "Laura and Henri". I cut the tag's base with the Cricut from Bazzill dot cardstock and cut some matching paper layers. I added some Picket Fence Crackle Paint to the pattern paper's edges. The sentiment is from the new Tina Wenke "With Love" set and cut with one of the Memory Box Primo Label dies. I still added some mulberry flowers, lace and brown gemstones. Laura and Henri have been colored with watercolor pencils, then cut and adhered directly to the pattern paper.

Ich habe das Sarah Kay Rose cuddling the winter bunny Motiv von Stampavie mit VersaFine black auf Aquarellpapier gestempelt und einen passenden Spruch aus dem AmyR Great Greetings Set dazu gesempelt. Anschließend habe ich einen Rahmen und beides gezogen. Das Motiv habe ich mit Albrecht Dürer Aquarellstiften coloriert. Der Cardstock ist von Bazzill.

I stamped the Sarah Kay Rose cuddling the winter bunny image by Stampavie with VersaFine black to watercolor paper and added a matching sentiment from the AmyR Great Greetings set. After that I drew a frame around both. I colored the image with Albrecht Durer watercolor pencils. The cardstock is Bazzill.

Peinlich, aber wahr, es ist das erste Sarah Kay Motiv aus der neuen Kollektion, das ich benutzt habe. Der Spruch ist aus dem AmyR Critter Sentiments Set von C.C. Designs. Ich habe ihn mit einem Spellbinders Tag ausgestanzt. Das Motiv habe ich mit Spellbinders Labels 13 ausgestanzt, es passt optimal hinein. Für die Karte selbst habe ich braunen Bazzill Cardstock sowie DCWV Linen Closet Designpapier genommen. Dekoriert habe ich die Karte mit einigen Blümchen, Spacern, Brads, einem Pfötchen-Charm, Stanzteilen und goldenen Halbperlen.

I made this card with the Sarah Kay "Josephine Cuddling Her Pet Cat Kiki" image for the last issue of the Stampavie Creations magazine. It was the first time I used one of the new Sarah Kay images, what a pity! The sentiment is from the AmyR Critter Sentiments set by C.C. Designs. I cut it with a Spellbinders tag. The image has been cut with Spellbinders Labels 13 where it fits perfectly. For my card I used brown Bazzill cardstock and DCWV Linen Closet pattern paper. I decorated my card with some flowers, spacers, brads, a paw charm, die cuts and golden pearls.

Now for my project today. I used one of the new Sarah Kay images called Juliet in the Field of Nasturtiums for my card. I cut the image with Spellbinders Labels 18, she had just the right size for them! I added a Martha Stewart grass and doily lace border. The cute sentiment is from LOTV. I couldn't resist to add some paper flowers, spacers and brads and of course the Martha Stewart butterfly. I used pink and turquoise Bazzill cardstock and My Mind's Eye pattern paper (tickled pink pad) for my card.

The image has been colored with Albrecht Duerer watercolor pencils from Faber Castell.

I added a light yellow frame around the image with a Tombow pen (no. 990) and blended it. If you didn't work with watercolor pencils yet, you can find a tutorial about how I do my coloring here.

Hier ist der Sketch, um den es diese Woche geht. Ich hoffe er gefällt euch. Ich habe extra einen ganz einfachen gezeichnet, ich persönlich arbeite ja meist eher mit weniger Schichten Papier.

Ich habe den süßen Sarah Kay Stempel "Adele enjoying fresh apples" von Stampavie für meine Karte ausgewählt. Und da mir schon so richtig herbstlich ist, habe ich wieder das wunderschöne Apple Cider Papier von Imaginisce genommen. Der Cardstock ist Stampin' Up! kraft sowie weinroter Bazzill CS. Das Motiv habe ich mit Spellbinders Curved Rectangles ausgestanzt und mit dem brandneuen Magnolia Lovely Fence sowie Martha Stewart Gras hinterlegt. Der Schmetterling ist ebenfalls mit einem Martha Stewart Stanzer gemacht.

The butterfly is from Martha Stewart as well.

Für meine Karte habe ich Stampin' Up! kraft und braunen Bazzill Cardstock genommen, das Designpapier ist aus dem Apple Cider Block von Imaginisce, welchen ich mir auf dem Stempel-Mekka gekauft hatte. Totaaaal schönes Herbstpapier oder? Der Spruch ist von Magnolia, die Blumen und Embellishments von embellishments.de und die Spitze ist Tildaspitze.

SAV Challenge #32 A sketch by Marga

Heute startet bei Stampavie wieder eine neue Challenge und zwar #32 - A sketch by Marga. Der Sketch hat wieder ein paar mehr Papierschichtenvorgaben, damit tue ich mich ja immer etwas schwer, aber dennoch habe ich mich natürlich daran versucht.

There is a new challenge starting over at Stampavie today, it's #32 - A sketch by Marga. There are more paper layers on this sketch again, you know that I'm a bit afraid of that but of course I tried my very best.

Ich hatte bis zum SAV Frühlings-/Sommerrelease 2010 immer wieder betont, dass wir unbedingt ein Schildkrötenmotiv bräuchten *grins*. Und jetzt habe ich es endlich geschafft den supersüßen Sarah Kay Stempel "Henri playing with turtles Bubba and Milo" selbst zu benutzten. Habt ihr gesehen, dass sich die Schildkröte rechts in den Panzer eingezogen hat? Das sieht soo süß aus, da luschern nur noch zwei Augen und kleine Füße heraus.

I always asked for a turtle image until the SAV spring/summer release 2010 *grin*. And now I finally managed to use the cute Sarah Kay stamp "Henri playing with turtles Bubba and Milo" myself. Did you see that the turtle on the right is in it's shell? You can only see a pair of eyes and feet.

Und hier dann nochmal meine Karte von vorne. Das Designpapier ist von K & Company aus dem Mc Kenna Block. Ich habe die einzelnen Papierschichten mit braunen Kunstnähten verziert, mal in einfach braun, mal in glitzer braun! Der Spruchstempel ist von LOTV, ausgestanzt mit den ovalen SU Stanzern. Dekoriert habe ich die Karte dann mit Scrapper's Floss, braunen Brads, einem QuicKutz Stanzteil, Papierblumen von embellishments.de und Strasssteinen, Blättern und Ästen von Martha Stewart.

And here's my card's front. The pattern paper is from the K & Company pad Mc Kenna. I added different faux-stitchings to the single paper layers. Sometimes I used a normal brown and sometimes a brown glitter pen! The sentiment is from LOTV, cut out with SU oval punches. I also added some Scrapper's Floss, brown brads, a QuicKutz die cut, paper flowers from embellishments.de and gemstones, leaves and branches from Marta Stewart to my card.

Das Motiv habe ich mit Albrecht Dürer Auqarellstiften coloriert. In den Hintergrund habe ich mit Kreide Wolken gewischt und da es immer noch etwas kahl wirkte, habe ich einfach noch kleine Pünktchen aufgemalt.

The images has been colored with Albrecht Duerer watercolor pencils and I added some clouds with chalk to the background. It was still too empty in my opinion to I just went ahead and added some dots with a brown pen.

Did I mention that my HOLIDAYS are starting today? *grin*.

Und da mich am Wochenende jemand fragte, warum ich auf meine Karten immer englische Sprüche stempele, möchte ich dazu noch etwas schreiben. Das kommt natürlich daher, dass ich für zwei amerikanische und eine französische Firma arbeite, die mir englische Sprüche zur Verfügung stellen. Außerdem war in dem besagten Falle das "miss you" viel kürzer als ein "Ich vermisse dich". Noch dazu finde ich kaum deutsche Textstempel, die mir in Größe und Schriftart gefallen und ich mag Englisch einfach :)

And there were a girl asking me last weekend why I am using english sentiment for my cards. Of course I want to answer this question. I'm working for two US and one firm from France and they are sending me english sentiments to play with. Of course I'm using them for my cards. In last week's case I didn't have enough space for a german "Ich vermisse dich" instead of "miss you". And another reason why I'm using english sentiments most of time is that I don't find many good german sentiments in a good size/font and I just love English :)

SEME Challenge #08

Die neue Stempeleinmaleins Challenge #08 startete gestern. Seit diesem Jahr starten wir beim SEME monatlich eine Challenge, bei der es natürlich auch etwas zu gewinnen gibt. Dieses Mal gibt es einen Gutschein von Betty's Creations in Höhe von 10 Euro zu gewinnen. Die Challenges laufen immer 4 Wochen, bis die nächste Challenge startet (immer am letzten Sa. im Monat).

The new Stempeleinmaleins Challenge #08 was starting yesterday. From this year on we have a monthly challenge at SEME. Of course you can win a prize with every challenge. Der neue Sketch ist von der lieben Kathrin. Natürlich darf er abgeändert werden, so dass ihr eure Kartenideen umsetzen könnt, man sollte den Urspruchssketch aber noch erkennen können.

Our lovely Kathrin has drawn the new sketch which you should use for your card. Of course you can change it for your card ideas but in the end you should be able to see that the sketch was the base for your card's layout.

Als ich den Sketch zuerst sah, habe ich gleich wieder etwas Panik geschoben, weil da so viele Layer Papier drauf sind. Am Ende war es aber gar nicht so schwer und ich habe sogar noch zwei Lagen Papier dazu geklebt! Für solche Sketche ist es wirklich super, wenn man einen Papierblock einer bestimmten Papierserie hat.

When I saw the sketch for the first time I was in panic because there are so many layers of paper. In the end it wasn't that hard and I added two more layers of paper! For sketches like this it's always good to have a pad of paper from one line.

Ich habe einen 12 x 12" Papierblock von K & Company (McKenna) für meine Karte genommen. Sind die Farben nicht schön? Passend dazu habe ich olivgrünen Stampin' Up! Cardstock für den Kartenrohling verwendet. Der Bordürenstanzer ist von Stampin' Up! (sale-a-bration Aktion USA), die helle Spitze aus einem Set von Hero Arts. Den Spruch habe ich auf ein Tag von QuicKutz gestempelt, an die Enden habe ich Scrapper's Floss geknotet, die Fotoecken sind ebenfalls von QuicKutz.

SAV Challenge #31 - A Color Challenge

Ihr sollt die Farben Sand, Gelb und Türkis für eure Karten verwenden, natürlich auch ein Stampavie Motiv.

Ich habe mich für das Sarah Kay Motiv "How sweet you are" entschieden, das mag ich total gerne. Ist diese Babyente nicht einfach zu süß? Die Karte ist dann halt nach den Farbvorgaben entstanden, die Spellbinders Labels 4 passten einfach gut zu dem Motiv.

I decided to use the Sarah Kay image ""How sweet you are", I really like this one. Isn't this baby duck too cute? I made my card from the challenge's colors, the Spellbinders Labels 4 were perfectly matching to this image.

Der "Special Friend" Spruch ist von LOTV und ich fand ihn einfach passend. Meinen Doily Lace Stanzer habe ich auch malwieder benutzt und passend zum kraft Cardstock von Stampin' Up! habe ich auch das packpapierbraune Schleifenband genommen. Zum Glück hatte ich auch noch einige farblich passende Prima Flowers, welche ich mit Perlenkappen und Brads dekoriert habe.

I think the "Special Friend" sentiment from LOTV is matching to the image. I used my Doily Lace punch and a matching Stampin' Up! ribbon to the kraft SU cardstock. What a luck that I also found some matching Prima Flowers in my stuff. I decorated them with bead caps and brads.

Ich habe also die Sarah in das Oval gestempelt, mit ovalen Spellbinders ausgeschnitten und noch zweimal auf Spellbinders gemattet. Coloriert ist das Motiv mit Aquarellstiften, die Punkte um das Oval herum habe ich mit einem Spica Glitterstift ausgemalt, damit das Tag interessanter wirkt.

I stamped Sarah into the oval, cut it out with Spellbinders and layered the tag with another Spellbinders oval. The image is colored with watercolor pencils. I added sparkles with a Spica glitter pen to the dots around the oval to make it more interesting.

Sarah Kays "Lucy & Kitty" habe ich maskiert und den RAM Rahmen (Frame - Oval Birds) danach über Lucy gestempelt. Das Oval habe ich mit Hilfe eines Spellbinders ausgeschnitten, Lucys Füße habe ich natürlich nicht abgeschnitten sondern über den Anhänger baumeln lassen.

I masked Sarah Kay's "Lucy & Kitty" and stampes the RAM frame (Frame - Oval Birds) over Lucy after that. I took a Spellbinders die cut as a template for Lucy and cut her feet out by hand so that they are now hanging over the tag.

Dass ich das Sarah Kay Motiv “Zoé gazing at the butterfly” von Stampavie nutzen würde, stand durch Monday Delight schonmal fest, die Aufteilung der Karte habe ich dann nach dem Sketch vorgenommen. Der Cardstock ist von Bazzill und das Designpapier von Fancy Pants, das hatte ich mir ja im Januar auf der CHA gekauft. Der schöne Spruch ist ebenfalls von Stampavie, ich habe ihn mit den ovalen SU Stanzern ausgestanzt. Das Ribbon, die Blumen und Embellis sind von embellishments.de.

Yesterday I saw the new sketch #104 from Sketch Saturday and I just had to play with it. I already knew that I would use the Sarah Kay stamp “Zoé gazing at the butterfly” by Stampavie because of Monday Delight, but I made the card's layout using the sketch. The cardstock is Bazzill and the pattern paper Fancy Pants which I bought at CHA in January. The wonderful sentiment is from Stampavie as well, I used the oval SU punches to cut it out. The ribbon, flowers and embellis are from embellishments.de.

Coloriert habe ich Zoé mit meinen Aquarellstiften, die Farben habe ich an das Designpapier angepasst. Ungewöhnlich, aber mir gefällt's. Das Faux-Stitching habe ich mit einem braunen Glitzerstift von Sakura gemacht, der glitzert richtig schön.

I colored Zoé with my watercolor pencils and took the colors from the pattern paper. Unusal but I like it. I made the faux-stitching with a brown Sakura glitter pen, this pen is sparkling so much.

SAV Challenge #24 - Fave Colors

Hihi, mein Magen knurrt und meine Lippe ist immer noch betäubt... Ich war gleich heute morgen um viertel vor neun beim Zahnarzt. Mein Sorgenkind mal wieder... eigentlich sollte die Füllung neu, aber er hat ein wenig herumgezickt, so dass sie jetzt erstmal eine provisorische Füllung gemacht haben und in 5 Wochen kriege ich dann meine richtige Füllung. Wenn er sich wieder beruhigt, ansonsten Wurzelbehandlung *bäh*. Also bitte alle Daumen drücken!

Heehee, I'm hungry and my lip is still dazed... I went to the dentist in the morning. My problem child again... normally they wanted to exchange the filling but my tooth was bitchy so that they added a temporary filling and I will get my normal filling in about 5 weeks if my tooth won't hurt again until then. Otherwise they will do a root treatment *wah*. Please cross your fingers for me!

Da meine Lieblingsfarben immer noch rosa/grün/braun und sandfarben sind, sieht meine Karte nun so aus. Der Cardstock ist von Bazzill, das Designpapier von Chatterbox. Ich weiß, das habe ich in der letzten Zeit immer wieder benutzt, aber es gefällt mir einfach so gut. Nach Ewigkeiten habe ich auch mal wieder ein Sarah Kay Motiv genutzt und zwar Bernadette admiring the spring flowers aus der aktuellen Spring/Summer 2010 Kollektion von Stampavie.

As my fave colors are pink/green/brown and sand I used these colors for my card. The cardstock is Bazzill and the pattern paper from Chatterbox. I know I used this pp more often these days but I really like it. After months I used a Sarah Kay image again. It's called Bernadette admiring the spring flowers from the current Spring/Summer 2010 Collection by Stampavie.

Das Motiv habe ich mit den rechteckigen Spellbinders ausgestanzt und mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt. Da das Designpapier sehr gemustert ist, habe ich auf viel Schnickschnack verzichtet. Das Band fand ich total passend und die drei Rosen mussten einfach mit rauf. Die Blätter habe ich mit dem Leone Em Ash Branch Stanzer gestanzt, den finde ich immer noch total schön.

I cut the image out with rectangle Spellbinders and added it with foam pads. As the pattern paper has a lot of pattern I didn't add much to the card. I think the ribbon was perfectly machting and I couldn't resist to add the 3 flowers. The leaves are punched with the Leone Em branch punch which I really love.

Oh ja, ich habe gestern, während Formel 1 lief, mit den Distress Nachfüllfarben geübt und die Coloration ist ganz gut geworden, wie ich finde. Endlich mal! Habe festgestellt, dass mir definitiv ein grau fehlt und ich hätte gerne noch mehr Brauntöne, dabei habe ich schon 4.

Oh yes, I tried another Distress reinker coloration while watching Formula 1 yesterday and I think this one is okay. Finally! I really need a grey and I would love to have more browns even if I already have 4.
