Bye bye Just Magnolia DT

Irgendwie ist bei mir in Sachen Magnolia zurzeit echt der Wurm drin. Ich habe das Magnolia DT ja aus privaten Gründen verlassen, es hatte aber auch damit zu tun, dass sie ihr DT echt nicht gut behandeln und ich, auch wenn es jetzt doof klingen mag, Besseres gewöhnt war. Ich mag gar jetzt keine Details erzählen, aber ich wollte Magnolia jedenfalls nicht mehr weiter unterstützen. Zudem hörte ich danach immer wieder skurrile Storys aus dem DT und so verging mir die Lust auf meine Magnoliastempel immer mehr. Ich konnte mir nie vorstellen, dass ich meine Tildas mal nicht mehr nutzen mag, aber leider kam es doch so. Vielleicht habt ihr gemerkt, dass ich auch bei Just Magnolia ein paar Mal ausgesetzt habe und zuletzt keine Tildas, sondern nur noch Zubehörstempel genutzt habe. Jedenfalls habe ich jetzt zusammen mit Bev und Jaqcui entschieden, auch das Just Magnolia DT zu verlassen, da meine Liebe für die Stempel derzeit leider nicht mehr so stark ist, wie noch vor einigen Monaten. Ich hatte schon länger mit dem Gedanken gespielt JM zu verlassen, aber ich wollte das Team nicht im Stich lassen. Am Ende habe ich es dann wohl doch getan, indem ich mich immer mehr zurück zog und keinen Spaß mehr an der DT Arbeit hatte.

Somehow there's a bug in my Magnolia career at the time. You know I left the Magnolia due to personal reasons but it was also a point that they aren't treating their DT very well. It may sound strange but I have tasted better in other DT's. I don't want to tell details but I didn't want to support Magnolia anymore. In the last weeks I heard more bizarre stories from the DT and so I lost my joy to use my Magnolia stamps more and more. I never could imagine that I would come to the point that I don't like to use my Magnolia stamps anymore but I came to that point. I guess you saw that I passed some Just Magnolia challenges and only used supply stamps on my last cards and not a Tilda. Together with Bev and Jacqui I decided to leave the Just Magnolia DT as well. I did toy with the idea to leave the JM team for weeks now but I wasn't able because I didn't want to forsake the girls. In the end I did it nevertheless because I didn't join in every challenge or enjoy my DT work anymore.

Ich gehe mit einem lachenden und einem weinenden Auge. Einerseits bin ich froh, dass ich diese wöchentliche Verpflichtung nicht mehr habe und freue mich, mich nur noch auf meine Lieblingsfirmen C.C. Designs und Stampavie konzentrieren und jetzt auch mal wieder andere Karten als DT Karten machen zu können, andererseits werde ich die Mädels natürlich sehr vermissen.

I'm leaving with mixed feelings. On one hand I'm happy that I don't have this weekly commitment anymore and that I have more time to use the stamps from my favorite companies C.C. Designs and Stampavie and maybe I have time to use other stamps than DT stamps in the future but on the other hand I will miss the girls so much.

Ich hoffe, dass ihr trotzdem weiterhin meinen Blog besuchen kommt, es gibt hier natürlich weiterhin viele Karten zu sehen. Bei den DT's ist mein neues Motto jetzt allerdings "Weniger ist mehr", denn man kann sich einfach nicht zerteilen und man muss auch mit Liebe dabei sein!

Was für ein Glück, dass heute endlich wieder Freitag ist. Leider habe ich Migräne, die einfach nicht weggehen will *brrr*. Dafür waren wir gestern wieder im Fitnesscenter und haben dort nun auch einen 1-Jahres Vertrag abgeschlossen. Letzten Samstag waren wir bereits beim Probetraining dort und nach einigen Tagen Bedenkzeit haben wir uns nun dafür entschieden. Es ist auch wirklich an der Zeit etwas zu tun, da ich echt den ganzen Tag nur sitze (erst im Büro, dann am Basteltisch). Ja und heute Abend geht es dann zu den Harley Days. Nicht, dass ich Motorrad fahren würde, aber heute Abend spielen dort The BossHoss, da muss ich natürlich hin *grins*.

Thank God it's Friday again. Unfortunately I have migraine today and it doesn't go away *brrr*. Therefor we were in the fitness studio yesterday and signed our contract. Last Saturday we had our test training and after some days of thinking about the whole thing we decided to sign. It's time to do something because I'm sitting the whole day (first in the office and then in my crafting room). Yes and today evening we will visit the Harley Days here in Hamburg. I'm not a biker but one of my fave band "The BossHoss" is giving a concert there *grin*.

Nun aber mal zu meiner Karte für die neue Just Magnolia Challenge #61 "A sketch by Bev". Ich habe dieses Mal ein Stillleben als Motiv gewählt *kicher*. 2 Muffins und eine Erdbeere. Sind ja schließlich auch Magnoliastempel und es muss ja nicht immer eine Tilda auf der Karte sein oder?

But now to my card for the new Just Magnolia Challenge #61 "A sketch by Bev". I decided to stamp a still life *lol*. 2 cupcakes and a strawberry. But hey they are Magnolia stamps and I think that you don't have to use a Tilda all the time, do you?

Wie ihr seht habe ich die Blumen auf die andere Seite gesetzt, da passten sie einfach besser hin, obwohl sie etwas gezwungen wirken. Dazu muss ich sagen, dass ich gestern nach dem Fitnesstraining (das Zweite in meinem ganzen Leben...) auch total erschlagen und nicht mehr in der Lage war Großartiges zu bewerkstelligen :P Der Sketch von Bev ist aber wirklich klasse, den verwende ich sicher noch einmal!

Like you can see I put the flower to the other side because they were matching better to that side if the image. I have to say that I wasn't able to make something very special after two hours fitness training yesterday :P But I really like Bev's sketch and I know I will use it again!

Für meine Karte habe ich Designpapier von Magnolia verwendet und Cardstock von Stampin' Up! und Bazzill. Ein bisschen Spitze und Organzaband sowie die roten Rosen und Halbperlen fand ich als Deko passend. Die Buchstaben für "Sweet Wishes" habe ich mit dem QuicKutz Phoebe Alphabet ausgestanzt. Die Bätter und Äste sind jeweils Martha Stewart Stanzer. Coloriert habe ich mit Auqarellstiften und die Erdbeeren noch mit gelbem Glitzerstift verziert. Leider sind die Bilder nicht so besonders dolle geworden, das Papier kommt farblich nicht richtig zur Geltung. Trotzdem finde ich, dass es mal eine andere Karte ist als immer "nur" eine Tilda. Mal sehen wer diese süßen Wünsche von mir bekommt.

I used patter paper from Magnolia and cardstock from Stampin' Up! and Bazzill for my card. I also added some lace, sheer ribbon, pearls and red mulberry roses. I cut the letters for "sweet wishes" out with my QuicKutz alphabet Phoebe. The leaves and branches are Martha Stewart punches. I colored the image with watercolor pencils and added some yellow glittery accents with a gel pen to the strawberries. Unfortunately the pics aren't very well, the paper is so much more beautiful in real. But I nevertheless think that this card is special and not "only" a Tilda card. Let's see who will get this one.

JM - #60 In the garden

Irgendwann schaffe ich es bestimmt auch wieder meine Just Magnolia Karte morgens zu posten, aber momentan will es mit dem Vorbereiten der Postings am vorigen Tag einfach nicht klappen *hüstel*. Jedenfalls ist heute endlich wieder Freitag und die neue Just Magnolia Challenge "In the garden" startet.

I think the day will come when I will get my Just Magnolia cards posted in the morning again, but at this time I can't manage to prepare my postings the other day *cough*. But it's finally Friday again and the new Just Magnolia "In the garden" challenge is starting.

Da habe ich doch einfach mal eine kleine Szene gestempelt und dieses Mal ist die Schnecke das Haupt- und Tilda nur ein Nebenmotiv. Ungewohnt, aber mir gefällt's! Die kleine Szene habe ich mit Spellbinders Labels 4 ausgestanzt, die Tildaelfe ist mit 3D Pads befestigt. Das Gras ist mit dem Martha Stewart Gras Bordürenstanzer gemacht, einmal in sandfarben und einmal in olivgrün. Die QuicKutz Ameisen passen doch gut oder? *gg*. Die Rosen sind von Wild Orchid Crafts und die Blätter sowie die Schmetterlinge mit Martha Stewart Stanzern ausgestanzt. Ein paar Halbperlen durften auch nicht fehlen.

I just stamped a litte garden scene and this time Tilda isn't a main image but the snail and Tilda is only a supplystamp. Unusual but I like it! I cut the little scene out with Spellbinders Label 4 and added the Tildafairy with foam pads. The grass is made with the Martha Stewart grass punch in sand and olive. The QuicKutz ants are perfectly matching, aren't they? *grin*. The mulberry roses are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the leaves and butterfly are made with Martha Stewart punches as well. And I couldn't resist to add some pearls.

Der Cardstock ist von Bazzill und das Designpapier von Chatterbox. Die Stanzteile habe ich mit weißem Gelstift verziert. Coloriert habe ich hier wieder mit Distress Nachfüllern, so langsam klappt es immer besser.

JM - #59 Mina's sketch

Juchu, endlich wieder Freitag und bald fängt das Wochenende an und die Fußball WM :) Erstmal startet heute aber die neue Just Magnolia Challenge #59 - Mina's sketch. Ich habe eine gaaanz neue Tilda in einem Flohmarkt ergattert, die musste ich natürlich sofort nutzen.

Yahoo, finally it's Friday again and the weekend is starting soon and so is the soccer WM :) But first of all the new Just Magnolia Challenge #59 - Mina's sketch is starting. I got a not yet released Tilda in someone's fleamarket and I just had to use her for my card.

Ist sie nicht süß? Irgendwie kam mir dann das Magnolia Designpapier mit den Pilzen in den Sinn und schwupps hatte ich das Layout der Karte fertig. Das niedliche Pilzcharm ist von embellishments.de. Sanne ist seit heute ja auch Sponsor bei Just Magnolia.

Isn't she a sweetie? Somehow the Magnolia mushroom pattern paper came into my mind and the card's layout was finished soon. I added the cute mushroom charm from embellishments.de. Sanne is a sponsor for Just Magnolia from today on.

Der Cardstock ist von SU und das passende Ribbon ebenfalls. Die Spitze ist von Tilda, wie passend ;). Die Prima Flowers passten farblich so gut dazu, die musste ich einfach dazu nehmen. Das Charm habe ich mit hellem Scrapper's Floss an eine der Blumen gebaumelt.

The cardstock is SU and the ribbon as well. The lace is from Tilda, how matching ;) The Prima Flowers were had just the right color to match the paper, just had to use them. I added the charm with Scrapper's Floss to one of the flowers.

Mit dem Martha Stewart Ast Stanzer habe ich noch einige Äste für die Blümchen ausgestanzt. Coloriert ist Tilda mit Aquarellstiften.

Und hier ist noch Minas schöner Sketch, der hat wirklich Spaß gemacht! Vielleicht mögt ihr ja auch an der neuen Challenge teilnehmen?! Ich wünsche euch allen viel Spaß beim Fußball gucken, wenn ihr denn guckt (ich mache es auf jeden Fall heute) und ein wunderschönes WE! Ja, hot & spicy... ich habe mich mehr auf "hot" beschränkt und eine sommerliche Karte gemacht. Die Shabby Tilda finde ich immer noch total niedlich und deshalb wollte ich sie gerne mal wieder nutzen. Die Farben fand ich "hot" *grins* und so habe ich den Core'dinations Cardstock und das schöne gestreifte Designpapier für meine Karte genommen. Leider habe ich vergessen von welcher Firma das DP ist, da muss ich später nochmal nachgucken.

Yes, hot & spicey... I went for "hot" and made a summery card. I still love the Shabby Tilda and that's why I just had to use her. I think the colors are "hot" *grin* and so I took the Cardstock from Core'dinations and the wonderful striped pattern paper. Unfortunately I forgot from which company it is, but I will take a look on it later again.

Den Martha Stewart Stanzer wollte ich gerne mal wieder nutzen und das gepunktete Ribbon fand ich witzig zu dem gestreiften Papier. Die Pfeile habe ich mit einem Shape von QuicKutz ausgestanzt. Für die Prima Flowers habe ich goldene Spacer und Glitzerbrads verwendet, den goldenen Swirl fand ich ganz witzig. Alle Embellishments sind von embellishments.de.

I really wanted to use the Martha Stewart punch again and thought the dotted ribbon would be funny to use together with the striped paper. The arrows have been cut out with a QuicKutz die. I used golden spacer and glitter brads for the Prima Flowers. I liked the golden swirl and thought it would be funny on my card. All embellishments are from embellishments.de.

Die Shabby Tilda habe ich mit den Spellbinders Labels 4 ausgestanzt. Coloriert habe ich sie mit meinen Aqarellstiften. Das Tag habe ich ebenfalls mit einem QuicKutz Shape ausgestanzt, das Sunshine ist von Simon Says Stamp. Die Blätter sind mit einem EK Success Stanzer gemacht. Hier seht ihr auch wie schön die Brads glitzern.

Shabby Tilda has been cut out with Spellbinders Labels 4 and colored with watercolor pencils. The tag is also made with a QuicKutz shape and the sunshine is from Simon Says Stamp. The leaves are made with an EK Success punch. On this pic you can see how beautiful glittery the brads are.

JM - #55 One for the girls

Heute startet die neue Just Magnolia Challenge #55 "One for the girls", d.h. ihr macht einfach eine Mädchenkarte. Na ja, ich habe mal keine Karte sondern einen Tic Tac Holder für eine ganz liebe Freundin, die mich gleich besuchen kommt, gemacht:

Today the new Just Magnolia Challenge #55 "One for the girls" is starting which means that you shall make a girly card. Okay, I didn't make a card, I made a Tic Tac holder for a lovely friend who is visiting me today:

Dafür habe ich mir einfach rosa Bazzill Cardstock und Basic Grey/Magnolia Designpapier passend zurechtgeschnitten und die süße Fairy Tale Tilda aus der aktuellen Fairytale Collection von Magnolia coloriert. Tildas Flügel habe ich mit Crystal Stickles bemalt (habt ihr schon auf dem SEME meine Stickles/Shimmerz Farbtabelle gesehen?) und ein paar Halbperlen als Deko aufgeklebt.

I took pink Bazzill cardstock, matching Basic Grey/Magnolia pattern paper as well as cute Fairy Tale Tilda from the current Magnolia Fairytale Collection. I added Crystal Stickles to Tilda's wings (by the way, did you already see my Stickles/Shimmerz comparison/color chart on the SEME blog?) and added some pearls as decoration.

Seitlich habe ich Sannes Namen aufgeklebt. Die Buchstaben sind mit dem CK handprint Alphabet von QuicKutz ausgestanzt und da ich die Schatten leider nur für die Großbuchstaben habe, musste ich halt alle Buchstaben groß "schreiben" ;)

On the side I added Sanne's name. I cut the letters with my CK handprint alphabet from QuicKutz. Unfortunately I only have the shadows for the upper letters so I "wrote" the name only in upper letters.

Auf die Rückseite habe ich noch einen kleinen Gruß geklebt. Der Spruch ist von Lili of the Valley und ich habe ihn mit den ovalen SU Stanzern ausgestanzt.

On the backside is a little greeting. The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and I cut it out with my oval SU punches.

Nun hoffe ich, dass Sanne der Tic Tac Holder auch gefällt, wenn sie in 10 Minuten hier ankommt *grins*.

Da ich ja gestern eine Previewkarte für All That Scraps hatte, komme ich erst heute dazu euch meine Karte für die neue Special Monthly Just Magnolia Challenge #54 - It takes two zu zeigen. Es geht darum mindestens zwei Motive miteinander zu kombinieren, hierbei gelten Sprüche nicht als Zweit"motiv"!

Ich hatte Glück und durfte meine Karte, die bereits im Magnolia Ink #01/2010 Magazin veröffentlicht wurde, für diese Challenge einreichen. Hier hatte ich sogar mehr als zwei Stempel benutzt! Ich habe hierfür Tilda & Edwin with Bike aus der Lazy Summer Days Collection 2009, den Spring Tree aus der Easter Collection 2009 und den Buttefly Background aus der Chasing Butterflies Collection 2009 genommen und eine Art Treppenkarte daraus gemacht. Ach ja, der süße Friends Fill... Spruch ist aus der Tilda & Edwin's Pet/Animal Collection 2009.

I am a lucky girl, because I was allowed to take my card which was already published in the Magnolia Ink Magazin #01/2010 for this challenge. I used more than two images for this card. I took Tilda & Edwin with Bike from the Lazy Summer Days Collection 2009, the Spring Tree from the Easter Collection 2009 and the Buttefly Background from the Chasing Butterflies Collection 2009 and made a kind of step card with them. The cute Friends Fill... sentimenr is from the Tilda & Edwin's Pet/Animal Collection 2009.

Im Hintergrund habe ich das White Lace Magnolia Papier genutzt, ebenfalls für die einzelnen Treppenstufen, die sollten ja nicht langweilig aussehen. Das Schleifenband und die Blumen hatte Magnolia mir geschickt.

Diese Karte ist auch schon weit gereist. Von Deutschland nach Schweden und dort aus nach USA! Die rote Karte mit dem X drauf ist auch von mir.

Hach, die Zeit rennt schon wieder. Bevor wir gleich zum Reifenwechsel fahren müssen, will ich euch noch schnell meine Karte für die neue Just Magnolia Challenge #53 - Bev's sketch gemacht habe.

Time is running again. Before I have to leave for tire change I want to show you my card for the new Just Magnolia Challenge #53 - Bev's sketch quickly.

Ich wollte gerne mal die süße Honey Tilda colorieren, die habe ich ja schon ewig unbenutzt hier liegen gehabt. Da ich aber kein gelb-Fan bin, habe ich einfach eine pinke Biene coloriert *grins*. Passend dazu habe ich dann das Bittersweet Papier von Basic Grey und SU Cardstock für meine Karte genommen.

I wanted to color Honey Tilda for so long and now I finally did. I'm not a fan of yellow so I colored a pink bee *grin*. Matching to that I used the Basic Grey Bittersweet pattern paper and SU cardstock for my card.

Öhm ja, nobody is perfect, was? Ich habe voll gepennt und eine Lage Papier vergessen aufzukleben... Das Motiv hatte ich auch schon drauf... also alles nochmal abgerupft und siehe da, mit der neuen Lage Papier sieht man von diesem Massaker nichts mehr. Zum Glück!

Oups... nobody is perfect! I totally forgot to add one layer of paper... The image was already glued... so I had to take the image and border off again and add the missing layer. What a luck that you can't see anything of the desaster anymore!

Coloriert habe ich mit meinen Aquarellstiften, die Akzente habe ich mit weißem Gelstift gesetzt. Ein bisschen Faux-Stitching musste auch sein, damit der Rand nicht so kahl ist. Den C.C. Designs Spruch fand ich total passend, der musste einfach mit auf die Karte. Ich habe ihn mit den ovalen SU Stanzern ausgestanzt.

I colored Tilda with my watercolor pencils and added some accents with a white gel pen. I couldn't resist to add some faux-stitching round the oval. The C.C. Designs sentiment is more than matching, isn't it? I used my oval SU punches to cut it out.

Die Flügel habe ich mit dem Spica Clear Stift bemalt, jetzt glitzern sie richtig doll. Die Nähte habe ich ebenfalls mit einem Spica Stift aufgemalt, die Farbe heißt Blossom. Und das erste Mal seit Ewigkeiten hat Tilda von mir weiße Punkte auf die Wangen bekommen!

For the wings I used a Spica clear glitter pen, now they are sparkling wonderful! I also used a Spica pen for the faux-stitching, the color is blossom. For the first time in months I added white dots to Tilda's cheeks!

The theme of this week's Just Magnolia challenge is "A sketch by Mina" Thank You themed as an option. For the DT this means a huge thank you to all our lovely followers and entrants each week and also to our amazingly generous sponsors for the fabulous prizes they put up each week.

And this is my card for this week. I thought I could use one of my fave older images again which is Dragonfly Tilda. The pattern paper is from October Afternoon and I used the matching Bazzill cardstock colors for my card.

The big flower is a Prima Flower. The leaves are punched with an Leone Em Punch and the headpins, the butterfly charm and brads are from embellishments.de. I also added different ribbons, lace and gemstones to my card. The sentiment is from AmyR Thank You Sentiments set from C.C. Designs and punched out with the Stampin' Up! oval punches.

I colored Dragonfly Tilda with watercolor pencils and the wings with Shimmerz Angel Wings. Unfortunately you can't see it in the pics. I used Spellbinders Megabilities Curved Rectangles for Tilda and inked all the paper's edges with my Memento Rich Cocoa ink pad and a sponge.

Bei Just Magnolia startet heute die neue Special Monthly Challenge, welche von Simon Says Stamp gesponsort wird. Today the new Special Monthly Challenge is starting over at Just Magnolia. It's sponsored by Simon Says Stamp. The new theme is "Fold it" that means that you need to have a minimum of two folds on your card/project. I decided to make a criss cross card after I didn't one since a long time anymore. Here it is:

Es ist eine kleine Karte, aber sie ist von der Größe her perfekt für die süße Bunny Tilda aus der Hoppy Easter Kollektion 2010. Der blaue und der beigebraune Cardstock sind von Stampin' Up!, das Designpapier ist von Imaginisce. Das war mein letzter Bogen, ich muss bald Nachschub bestellen *grins*.

It's a small card but it is the perfect size for the cute Bunny Tilda from the Hoppy Easter Collection 2010. The blue and kraft cardstock are from Stampin' Up! and the pattern paper is Imaginisce. This was my last sheet I think I have to order new Imaginisce papers again *smile*.

Hier seht ihr beide Teile der Karte. Ich musste hier auch gleich meine beiden neuen Martha Stewart Stanzer nutzen. Das Blatt und den Schmetterling wollte ich schon so lange haben, diese Woche habe ich sie mir endlich gegönnt :)

Here you can see both parts of the card. I just had to use my new Martha Stewart punches. I wanted the leaf and the butterfly for months and now I finally bought them this week :)

Auf die innere Karte habe ich den süßen Little Hoppy gesetzt. Ansonsten habe ich das Papier wirken lassen, das finde ich immer noch soo schön. Die beiden Ostersprüche sind von C.C. Designs.

Yahoo, finally we have Friday again! And you know what this means! The new Just Magnolia challenge "A sketch by Jane" is starting and our lovely Jane created a wonderful sketch for us.

Und da mir die liebe Sanne letzte Woche neue Magnoliastempel von der Creativa mitgebracht hat, habe ich gleich mal die süße sitzende Piratentilda aus der "Fairytale Kollektion" für meine Karte genommen. Ich habe sie auf das Magnolia Boot (RowBoat - Summer & Sea Kollektion 2008) gesetzt und die Fahne ist von der anderen Piratentilda, die habe ich einfach abgeschnitten ;)

As my lovely friend Sanne bought new Magnolia stamps for me at the Creativa last week I decided to use the cute sitting pirate Tilda from the new "Fairytale Collection" for my card. I sat her onto the RowBoat from the Summer & Sea Collection 2008 and cut out the other pirate Tilda's flag ;)

Hihi, die Totenköpfe sind süß oder? Das Magnolia Halloween- und Weihnachtspapier passt auch wunderbar zu Piraten *grins*. Die roten Flowers hatte ich mal auf dem Stempel-Mekka gekauft. Die schwarzen Perlenkappen sieht man hier nur schwer, die Daisies habe ich als Blumenmitten gestanzt und mit einem roten Brad befestigt.

The skulls are cute, aren't they? The Magnolia Halloween and Christmas pattern paper was perfect for pirates *grin*. The red flowers are from a visit at a German fair two years ago. You can't see the black bead caps on the pics, I also added some small punched daisies to the flowers middles and red brads.

Coloriert habe ich passend zu den Farben des Magnolia Designpapiers. So kommt es, dass das Wasser dunkelgrau geworden ist ;) Und da ich keinen Piratenspruch habe, habe ich ein einfaches "ARRR" mit dem Katie Alphabet von QuicKutz ausgestanzt. Das geniale ovale Tag ist von Spellbinders, das mittlere oval von Stampin' Up! Das passt supergut in das Spellbinders Tag.

I colored Tilda in the Magnolia pattern paper's colors. This is why the water is dark grey now ;) As I didn't have a pirate sentiment I cut out the "ARRR" with the QuicKutz Katie alphabet. The oval tag is from Spellbinders and the medium oval is punched with the Stampin' Up! oval punch. It's matching perfectly into the Spellbinders tag.
