Simon's Monday Delight #02 - And another Winner

Da sich auch die neue Gewinnerin meines zweiten "Monday Delight" nicht gemeldet hat, habe ich heute eine dritte Gewinnerin für den Magnoliastempel von Simon Says Stamp gezogen! Sollte sich die Gewinnerin jetzt nicht melden, wird der Preis bei Heidi von Simon bleiben. Ich dachte eigentlich, dass wenn man bei einem Candy mitmacht, man zwischendurch auch mal auf die Blogs zurück kommt und guckt, ob man gewonnen hat...

Also the new winner of my second "Monday Delight" didn't get back to me so I drew a third winner for the Magnolia stamp from Simon Says Stamp! If the new winner won't get back to me I will tell Heidi to keep the stamp. I always thought that people will come and check if they won a candy after taking part...

Juhu! Endlich ist es wieder Freitag und die neue Just Magnolia Special Monthly Challenge startet. Hierbei geht es darum, das Flower Tutorial von Michele nachzuarbeiten und eine selbstgemachte Blume für eure Karte zu nutzen. Wenn ihr nicht die passenden Shapes habt macht es gar nichts, denn ihr könnt auch andere Stanzer/Shapes dafür nutzen. Yay! Thank God it's Friday again and the new Just Magnolia Special Monthly Challenge is starting. This week we made flowers using the Michele's flower tutorial for our cards. If you don't have the matching shapes don't be afraid you can use every other punch/shape for your flowers, too. Die süße Tilda mit Mistelzweig wird mit der neuen Magnolia Weihnachtskollektion 2009 herauskommen. Ist sie nicht süß? Ich finde es immer toll, wenn Tilda so lange Haare hat (wie das wohl kommt? *grins*) und diese hier ist auch besonders groß. Cardstock und Designpapiere sind von Stampin' Up!, da passt ja farblich immer alles total gut zusammen und gerade das rot und olivgrüne Papier finde ich für Weihnachtskarten optimal.

The cute Mistletoe Tilda will be released with the new Magnolia Christmas 2009 Collection. Isn't she the cutest? I really like Tilda with such long hair (you know why?) and this one is big! Cardstock and pattern papers are from Stampin' Up, I love that red and olive for Christmas cards.

Bei meiner Blume habe ich ein bisschen schummeln müssen, denn ich habe einfach keine passenden Stanzer für Micheles Tutorial bzw. wollte den Retro Stanzer nicht auch noch dafür nutzen. So habe ich, frech wie ich bin, eine blume aus Spellbinders Herzen á la Lesa gemacht. Hierfür habe ich das kleinste und das zweitkleinste gewellte Spellbinders Herz und ein Brad genommen. Vor dem zerknittern habe ich die Herzen noch mit einem Inkadinkado Weihnachtsschnörkel bestempelt und die Ränder geinkt.

I cheated a little bit with my flower because I didn't use Michele's tutorial. I didn't want to use the Retro punch (like some of the other DT girls already did) so I made a flower from Spellbinders hearts like Lesa. I used the smallest and the second smallest scalloped heart and a brad for it. I stamped some Inkadinkado Christmas Swirls to the hearts and inked the edges before buckling the hearts./petals.

Den tollen Weihnachtsspruch von Stampin' Up! habe ich jetzt auch endlich und der durfte hier natürlich nicht fehlen! Die große Blume habe ich mit einem QuicKutz Revolution Shape gestanzt, da passte Tilda optimal rauf. Ein paar Kaisercraft Halbperlen habe ich noch in die Ecken gesetzt, die mir vorher zu leer erschienen.

The wonderful sentiment is also Stampin' Up! Finally I have this one in my collection, too! The big flower is made with a QuicKutz Revolution shape. Tilda is matching perfectly to this one. In the end I added some Kaisercraft pearls to the empty edges.

Tilda mit Mistelzweig habe ich dieses Mal wieder mit meinen Aquarellstiften coloriert. Es ist und bleibt einfach meine Colorationsweise! Die Motive haben so viel mehr Leben, als wenn ich Marker nutze. Ich muss mit den Markern echt noch viel üben ;) Tilda und die große Stanzblume habe ich mit höheren 3D Pads aufgeklebt.

I used my watercolor pencils to color Tilda in. This IS my medium to color images! I think the images have more life with them than using my markers. I really need more practice ;) I adhered Tilda and the big flower with foam pads.

Passend zu Weihnachten habe ich noch große Prima Ilexblätter auf die Karte geklebt. Das tolle Swirlribbon habe ich von embellishments.de und meinen neuen EK Success Stanzer musste ich auch mal einweihen. Die großen Wellen gefallen mir echt sehr gut.

Matching to the Christmas theme I added some holly leaves by Prima. The wonderful swirl sheer ribbon is from embellishments.de and I just had to use my new EK Success punch for this card. I really like it.

It's Halloween - Devil Tilda

Momentan stecke ich kartentechnisch zwischen Halloween- und Weihnachten fest *g*. Heute habe ich wieder eine Halloweenkarte für euch. Die süße Devil Tilda aus der neuen So Spooky Kollektion von Magnolia wollte ich auch gerne einweihen.

At the moment I can't resist to make Halloween and Christmas cards *grin*. Today I have another Halloween card for you. I just had to test the cute Devil Tilda from the new So Spooky Collection by Magnolia.

Für diese Karte habe ich kein Designpapier genommen sondern einfach nur Coredinations Black Magic (mit rotem Kern) und roten Bazzill Cardstock. Eine ziemlich ähnliche Karte habe ich bereits im letzten Jahr gemacht, aber mir gefiel die Idee so gut, da habe ich sie einfach nochmal genommen.

I didn't use pattern paper for my card but Coredinations Black Magic (with red core) and red Bazzill cardstock. I already made a card like this last year but I like the idea so why not using it again?

Das Spinnennetz habe ich mit einem Cuttlebug Prägefolder gemacht und die Weben mit Sandpapier bearbeitet. Eine passende Spinne musste natürlich auch mit rauf. Die von embellishments.de kann man ja selbst noch mit Glitzersteinchen schmücken, das habe ich natürlich auch gemacht! Der Halloweenspruch ist von Penny Black.

I made the spiderweb with my Cuttlebug embossing folder and sanded the webs. Of course a matching spider was needed and I took the one from embellishments.de where you can add a gemstone or pearl or... The sentiment is from Penny Black.

Zum Glück habe ich passende Blumen in meiner Sammlung gefunden. Von dem Martha Stewart Ast hatte ich mir auch einige schwarze Äste bei Sanne gestanzt, den Stanzer habe ich ja leider noch nicht selbst. Wird aber nicht mehr lange dauern *grins*! Die Äste habe ich mit rotem Gelstift "bepunktet". Die Ränder der Karte habe ich ebenfalls angeschmirgelt und den roten Cardstock in schwarz geinkt.

Luckily I found the matching flowers in my stash and also punched some black branches with Sanne's Martha Stewart punch. I think I really need this one soon *grin*. I drew some red dots with a red metallic gel pen to the branches and sanded the edges of the Coredinations cardstock. For the red cardstock's piece I used a sponge and black ink.

Devil Tilda habe ich mit Copics und Prismacolors coloriert, ausgeschnitten und mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt. W7 ist als Basis für schwarz etwas dunkel, ich habe mir jetzt W5 bestellt und hoffe, dass das Ergebnis damit etwas besser wird, wenn ich denn meine Marker weiter teste... nach dem Desaster letzten Samstag... da wollte es mit den Markern nämlich so gar nicht klappen *grummel*.

I colored Devil Tilda with Copics and Prismacolors, cut her out and added her with foam pads to my card. I think that W7 is just too dark, so I bought W5 for black now. I really hope that the result will be better if I will start with my markers again... I wasn't able to color with my markers last Saturday *grrr*.

Die neue Magnolia So Spooky Halloween Kollektion wird bald auch in den Shops erhaltbar sein. Ich habe bereits 4 der neuen Motive und es stehen noch mind. 4-5 weitere auf meinem Einkaufszettel *tüdelü*. Pauline hat echt ein Händchen für die Motive!
