Stempel-Mekka 2009! Ich habe momentan so viel zu bloggen, dass ich gar nicht alles gezeigt habe... jetzt schreibe ich halt mehrere Postings an einem Tag, damit ich mal alles aufhole und wieder auf dem neusten Stand bin.

Stempel-Mekka 2009! I have to much to blog these days that I didn't show you everything I wanted... now I will write more than one posting a day to tell you everything even if it are some older stories/cards.
Ich hatte euch ja bereits erzählt, dass wir uns den Tag nach dem Stempel-Mekka (wir waren ja am Samstag dort, also am Sonntag) spontan zum Stempeln getroffen haben, da Tussan und Anne noch zu Besuch bei Ine waren. Das mussten wir ja ausnutzen, wenn die Schweden mal hier sind! Und ich muss ganz ehrlich sagen, dass ich Tussan unbedingt richtig kennenlernen wollte, auf dem Mekka hatten wir nur wenig Zeit uns zu unterhalten.

I already told you that we met the day after Stempel-Mekka (we were there on Saturday so we met on Sunday) spontaneous for a little stamping crop. Tussan and Anne were still at Ine for a visit so we just had to meet! And honestly I really wanted to meet Tussan again to get to know her better. We hadn't much time to speak at the fair the day before.
I already told you that we met the day after Stempel-Mekka (we were there on Saturday so we met on Sunday) spontaneous for a little stamping crop. Tussan and Anne were still at Ine for a visit so we just had to meet! And honestly I really wanted to meet Tussan again to get to know her better. We hadn't much time to speak at the fair the day before.
Also hatte Sanne mich an dem Sonntag eingesammelt und wir sind zu Ine gedüst. Carola und Coni waren auch dort und wir haben in einer total netten Runde gestempelt. Und wenn ich den Profi schonmal vor der Nase habe musste ich Tussan natürlich bitten mir zu zeigen WIE sie die Coloration mit den Promarkern so gut hinkriegt. Das hat sie dann auch getan und fast alle haben wie die Verrückten getestet:

So Sanne and me drove to Ine. Carola and Coni were also there and we had a wonderful day together. And if there were a profi around I couldn't resist to ask Tussan if she could show me how to color with ProMarker and Prismacolor pencils. She was so kind and told us and we were trying like crazy:
Ich bin Jessica echt dankbar, dass sie uns gezeigt hat wie das mit den Markern und Prismacolorstiften geht. Ihr könnt euch nicht vorstellen wie schnell sie das Testmotiv coloriert hatte. Ich brauche mit meinen Aquarellstiften ca. 1-1,5 Stunden für ein Motiv (!) und sie war in 20 Minuten durch und es sah ganz wunderbar aus. Hier ist das Motiv, welches sie für uns coloriert hatte (obere Karte) und die zweite Karte hatte sie auf unserem Treffen gemacht (siehe Foto).

I'm so thankful that Jessica told us how to work with markers and Prismacolor pencils. You won't believe how fast she colored the test image in. I normally need 1 until 1 and a half hour to color my images with my watercolor pencils and she only needed 20 minutes and made a wonderful coloration! Here is the image she colored for us (first card) and the second card she made during our meeting (you can see it in the pic).
Hier sind meine beiden Testergebnisse von unserem Treffen, natürlich habe ich zum testen hÄnglar Motive verwendet *grins*.

Finally I used the cute bat. I have this stamp since a year now *cough*.
Und die kleine Mumie... nein, normalerweise ist es ja eine Libelle, aber für mich ist sie seit letztem Jahr eine Mumie *g*.***
And the little mummy... no, normally it's a dragonfly but for me she is a mummy since last year *heehee*.
Da mir diese Art zu colorieren echt Spaß gemacht hat, habe ich mir in der Woche nach dem Treffen zu meinen ProMarkern, die ich bereits hatte, noch 10 Copic Sketch Marker gekauft und diese seitdem ja auch einige Male benutzt. Und weil mir Jessicas Tasche (die rosa/braune auf Foto Nr. 2 - Coni hatte sogar die gleiche in blau dabei *hihi*) so gut gefallen hat, habe ich sie mir doch glatt nach dem Mekka noch gekauft. Sie ist perfekt für meine Marker und die Prismacolor/Polychromostifte. Man braucht auch gar nicht allzu viele Stifte, das ist echt praktisch und so verfalle ich nicht in Kaufrausch... leider eine echte Macke von mir *grummel*.

As this coloration was a real fun I just bought 10 new Copic Sketch markers the week after our meeting as addition to my ProMarkers. I used them a few times until now. And I really loved Jessica's pink/brown bag (funny that Coni had the same one in blue with her) so that I bought it after our meeting for myself, too. It's perfect for my markers and Primacolor/Polychromo pencils. And you don't need many markers for Tussan's style of coloration. What a luck because I am really addicted to buy new things...
Ich habe die Colorationstechnik nun schon einige Male angewendet, 100%ig zufrieden bin ich bei mir damit aber nicht. Die Schatten kommen einfach nicht so gut raus wie mit meinen Aquarellstiften und nach meinen misslungenen Versuchen von letztem Samstag muss ich mich jetzt erstmal wieder aufraffen weiterzuüben ;) Dass mich das immer sooo runterzieht ist nicht zu fassen... Marker und ich gleich Hassliebe! Immerhin habe ich vorher bereits zwei Mal Copics und einmal Touch Marker gehabt und wieder verkauft. Vielleicht hat Jessica ja recht, denn sie sagte mir im Scherz, dass dieser Colorationsstil nur bei den hÄnglar Motiven funktioniert. Na ja, gerade gestern habe ich nun zwei weitere Copics von Simon Says Stamp bekommen, die mir noch in der Farbtabelle fehlten. Da kann das Üben ja weitergehen.***
You see that I have tested Jessica's technique a few times now but I'm not 100% satisfied with me. You don't see the shadows as much as when I'm using my watercolor pencils and after my horrible tries last Saturday I really have to pull myself together to try it again. I really don't know why I'm always so down when I failed with markers... markers and me have a love-hate relationship! I had Copics twice and Touch markers and sold them everytime shortly after. Maybe Jessica was right as she told me that this technique only works for hAnglar images (joke). Yesterday I got two more Copics from Simon Says Stamp which were missing in my collection. Now I can try on.
Noch einmal vielen Dank für den tollen Stempeltag auf Deutsch, Schwedisch und Englisch. Ich hoffe, dass wir das nächstes Jahr wiederholen! (Leider waren Carola und Coni schon los, als wir dieses Foto gemacht haben.)***
