***Today is FINAAAALLY the day. It's "MichJay Day". The MichJay Challenge is a personal challenge between my friend Michelle and me. Some time ago we were speaking about that there are so many cool 3D projects out there and that we almost only make cards. So we decided to also make 3d things and that's why we have the normally monthly MichJay Challenge every 20th a month. For our MichJay Challenge #07 we've chosen a pop up card.
***
I find pop up cards difficult! But of course I accepted the challenge and actually used some of my scenic stamps again. The pattern paper is Chatterbox, it's patterned cardstock, and the brown cardstock is Stampin' Up!
***
The cute "Swiss Pixies - Spring Birgitta" by C.C. Designs and the cute bunny from the "Sweet November - Spring Elves" set by Amy Young for C.C. Designs were perfect for my idea. The background stamp and the little birdies are form Darcie's, the little stones are from Freddy Friends.

Here you can see that Birgitta is popping out of the background *grin*. I added the bunny with 3D pads. But the Martha Stewart butterflies are matching the theme again. The green ribbon is great, isn't it? It's from embellishments.de and I took it as a "meadow" for my card here.
***
The "Happy Easter" has been cut with the Cricut. The svg file is from SVGCuts.com. The egg stamp is from Darcie's. I bought it from Conibaer's fleamarket the week before.
***
And here's the scene alone. I have to say that I remembered the old times (2005/2006) when I was a scene stamper and I miss it. I have drawers full of these wonderful backgrounds and stamps but I don't have the time to color all the images anymore... okay, it was my decision so I shouldn't cry. I used my Albrecht Duerer watercolor pencils from Faber Castell for the images.
***
And now I will pop over to Michelle and have a look at her card. Wanna come with me? Okay! Or wanna join in the fun of our MichJay Challenge? OKAY! You are invited to leave us a comment to your pop up card.
