Juhu, endlich ist Freitag! Leider steht es noch nicht fest, ob es mit meinem Urlaub ab nächster Woche klappt, denn wir haben da gerade einen Vorfall in der Firma, der nicht so schön ist. Jedoch weiß ich schonmal, dass ich am Montag frei habe, also wenigstens ein langes Wochenende :) Und dieses läuten wir natürlich mit einer neuen Just Magnolia Challenge ein, die dieses Mal "Summer" heißt.

Yay finally it's Friday again! Unfortunately I don't know if I really will have free from work for the next two weeks due to some personal problems in the office which aren't nice. But I already know that I can stay at home on Monday so I will at least have a long weekend :). And we start into the weekend with a new Just Magnolia Challenge which is "Summer".

Ich hatte mal wieder Lust auf eine kleine Szene und so habe ich die ältere Tilda mit Schwimmreifen, die kleine Sandburg und den Darcie's Strandhintergrund genommen. Die Muscheln und der Seestern sind auch von Magnolia. Ich habe letztes Jahr im Sommer echt zugeschlagen, denn die Sommerkollektion 2008 hat mir total gut gefallen. Ich bin schon sehr gespannt auf die Sommerstempel für dieses Jahr! Und den Spruch von C.C. Designs fand ich ja total passend für diese Karte. Damit Tilda nicht so alleine ist, habe ich noch ein Seepferdchencharm an die Blume gehängt.

I thought I could stamp a little scene so I used the cute old Tilda with swimring, the sandcastle and the Darcie's beach background. The starfish and shells are also Magnolia. I bought a lot of last summer's collection because I really loved the stamps. I'm looking forward for this years summerstamps. I think the cute sentiment from C.C. Designs is matching perfectly to my card. I added a seahorse charm so now Tilda isn't alone anymore.

Da mir gestern ein bisschen die Zeit davongerannt ist, habe ich Tilda wieder gepaperpieced, das macht mir ja echt total viel Spaß. Ist ihr Badeanzug nicht süß? Leider habe ich auch die Karteninnenseite nicht gestalten können.

As time was running too fast yesterday I decided to paper piece Tilda again. Isn't Tilda's swimdress the cutest? I unfortunately didn't get the card's inside done.

Ich hoffe ihr habt alle Lust eine Sommerkarte zu machen und nehmt an unserer neuen Challenge teil. Ich bin so froh, dass es unseren Challengeblog gibt, seitdem nutze ich meine Magnolias wieder regelmäßig und so kommen sogar die älteren Motive mal wieder zum Einsatz.

Also los! Die erste Challenge ist "Altered Container". D. h. ihr peppt einfach eine alte Box, Blechdose oder was immer euch einfällt auf. Dabei müsst ihr mind. einen Magnoliastempel verwenden, um an der Verlosung des Preises teilzunehmen. Ihr habt Zeit bis Dienstag, den 30. Juni bis 22:00h (UK Zeit).

Ich habe eine alte und schon ausgeblichene Pappbox bei mir gefunden, die es wirklich nötig hatte ein bisschen hübsch gemacht zu werden. Ich habe hierfür die großgemusterten 30x30" Papierbögen von Basic Greys Bittersweet Kollektion genommen, welches ich mit dem ScorTape aufgeklebt habe. Das hält wirklich bombenfest! Da ich eine Box für meine Lieblingsblumen machen wollte (habt ihr all die schönen rosanen, braunen und weißen Blumen in der Box gesehen?), habe ich die niedliche Tilda mit Rose genommen. Da ich gestern eine Lieferung mit neuen wunderschönen Papierblumen von embellishments.de erhielt, habe ich diese Blumen auch gleich für meine Box verwendet. Zur weiteren Verzierung der Dose habe ich sonst noch zu rosanen glitzernden Chipboardherzen, Papierrosen, rosaner Spitze, dem Martha Stewart Branch Stanzer und Star Dust Stickles gegriffen.

I found an old and bleached box in my stash which really needed to be altered! So I took my 30x30" sheets from Basic Grey's Bittersweet collection with big pattern on and added it with ScoreTape to the box. This is really great! As I wanted to make a box for my favorite flowers (did you see all the pink and brown and white flowers in the box?) I decided to take cute Tilda with rose. As I received new paper flowers from embellishments.de yesterday I added some of them to my box. I also used pink glittery chipboard hearts, mulberry roses, pink lace, my MS branch punch and Star Dust Stickles to alter the box.

Passend zur aktuellen wöchentlichen JM Challenge habe ich Tildas Kleid und die Rose gepaperpieced. Tildas Arm, die Hand und auch die Rose habe ich so mit 3D Pads aufgeklebt, dass sie aus dem Motiv hervorkommen. Das gefällt mir persönlich sehr.
Die rosanen Blumen (unten links im Bild) haben übrigens schon von Werk aus braun gefärbte Ränder. Ich liebe sie!!

Matching to the current weekly JM Challenge I paperpieced Tilda's dress and her rose. I used only a few Dimensionals for Tilda's arm, hand and the rose to let them pop out of the image. I really love how it turns out.
The pink flowers (you can see one of them in the left bottom corner of my picture above) were produced with a brown inked edge. How cool is it? I really love them!!

SAV Challenge #06 - Flowers

Mit einem Tag Verspätung möchte ich euch nun auch endlich zur neuen Stampavie Challenge mit dem Thema "Flowers" einladen! Ich kam gestern und heute über den Tag einfach nicht dazu euch meine Karte zu zeigen. Diese Woche vor meinem Sommerurlaub habe ich doch noch einen vollen Terminplan auf der Arbeit und auch zu Hause ;) Ich freue mich schon auf meine zwei freien Wochen, auch wenn wir nicht wegfahren. Nun aber zurück zur Stampavie Challenge!

With one day delay I finally want to invite you to join our new Stampavie Challenge which is "Flowers"! I didn't make it to show you my card earlier. Next week my summer holidays will be starting that's why I have a ton to do this week in the office and at home, too ;) I'm really looking forward to my two free weeks from work even if we will stay at home. But now onto the Stampavie Challenge!

Passend zum Thema Blumen habe ich das schöne Stampin' Up! Papier in meiner Sammlung gefunden und glücklicherweise auch jede Menge Prima Flowers in den gleichen Farben. Das niedliche RAM "Lily & Milo - Hand in hand" Motiv von Stampavie fand ich hier sehr passend, das war mir vorher gar nicht so aufgefallen, aber als ich jetzt meine Stampavie Stempel durchgegangen bin, hat es mir total gut gefallen. Süß die Beiden, das könnten Sven und ich sein.

Matching to the theme flowers I found this wonderful Stampin' Up! paper in my stash and luckily a lot of matching Prima Flowers in the same colors, too. The cute RAM "Lily & Milo - Hand in hand" image by Stampavie is perfect for this card. I didn't realize how cute it is until I went through all my Stampavie stamps last weekend. This could be Sven and me.

Ich habe mich dieses Mal für deutsche Texte entschieden, da ich schon des Öfteren anklagende Worte vernommen habe, warum ich denn ständig englische Texte auf meine Karten stempeln würde... *haha*. Mein Papa zum Beispiel hat das mal bemängelt ;). Mein Problem ist einfach, dass ich die englischen Sprüche meistens total viel schöner finde und ich außerdem viel mehr englische Textstempel besitze. Aber hier passten der LeLo Design Spruch auf dem Kartencover und der Heyda-Verlag Spruch innen total gut.

I decided to take german sentiments this time because I had some claims about that I'm using english sentiments and words for my cards all the time *hee hee*. My Dad was one of these people ;) My biggest problem is that I like english sentiments a lot more than german sentiments and I own more english ones. But here the LeLo Design stamp was perfect for the card's cover and the Heyda-Verlag sentiment for the inside.

Ihr wisst ja, dass ich Blumen einfach liebe und ich könnte auf all meine Karten jede Menge Blumen kleben. Die wunderschön glitzernden Imaginisce Weihnachtsbrads passen hier total gut dazu. Die Spacer und die Microbrads sind von embellishments.de.

You know och much I love flowers and I could add them in huge lots to all of my cards. The beautiful shimmery christmas brads from Imaginisce are well working together with the flowers. All spacers and the microbrads are from embellishments.de.
