Christmas already is over and we get back to normal life. Christmas is coming "abrupt" each year and is going so fast. But this year I'm honestly happy, that Christmas is over now, because I stressed myself too much...

I'm owing you some pictures and that's why I'll start with the gifts I made for my friends and family this Christmas. The gifts I got I'll show you tomorrow, so that my post won't be TOO long today ;)
inkpads: Stampin' Up! Brown
papers: Stampin' Up! Cardstock, Post Its
accessories: SU Ribbon, 3D Pads, SU Scalloped & Circle Punches, QK Maggie Alphabet
pencils: White Gel Pen, Brown Fineliner

The writing pads above I made for some of my stamping friends. Matching to their names I added the letter onto the labels. Some months ago I received such a cute post it pad from Minimissi and I liked it so much, that I wanted to make some of them as gifts, too. I think my friends were happy about them.
inkpads: Ancient Page Chocolate
papers: Bazzill CS, Daisy Bucket Patterned Papers
accessories: Ribbons, 3D Pads, SU Scalloped & Circle Punches, Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch

This desk-set I made for my parents. It includes a can for pencils, a box for notepads and a post it pad. I made a pencil can for my Mum some years ago and as I saw it some weeks ago in my parent's house I got shocked, because the colours are yellowed and it isn't good looking anymore. So I had to make a new one ;) Matching to the colours in their PC room (it's my old room) I used the wonderful Daisy Bucket patterned papers for the set. My parents were really happy about it.
inkpads: Memories Black
papers: SU CS & PP
accessories: 3D Pads, different Snowflake Punches, Half Beads
pencils: SU Ink Pads & Tombow Pens
inkpads: SU Red
papers: SU CS & PP
accessories: Ribbons, 3D Pads, Spellbinders, SU Slit Punch, Felt Mooses, Brads, Spacer, Martha Stewart Doily Lace Punch

For my Grandparents I decorated this jars and filled them with candies. My grandparents really liked the jars, what a luck! We aren't allowed to give presents to them, but I always have to give some handmade things and this is okay for them!

For Sven's mother and her husband I also made a candle-set. I think candles in matching colours to their furnishings are good gifts, because you can't do anything wrong with them. The big matchbox is also perfect for them, because they have a fireplace in their livingroom.
inkpads: Memories Artprint Brown, SU Sage
papers: SU CS, Watercolour Paper
accessories: Ribbon, Eyelet
pencils: Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Pencils

Because I needed some more gift tags I made some fast ones with the cute Elzybells reindeer. I took the matching colours from the gifts, because I wrapped them in foil. My family also liked the little tags!

Now I have to tell you, that I didn't make any cards for my family, because I had too few time this year. I made the candle-set for my brother on Dec 23, the desk-set for my parents, the jars for my grandparents and the gift tags on Dec 24, before we were visiting my family on Christmas Eve. The candle-set for Sven's mum I made on Dec 25, as we met them this day. You see I was a last minute stamper this year... I think next year I'll buy the gifts again *smile*.

pencils: Red & White Gel Pens

Okay, this box I made in the beginning of December during Conibaer's Stampin' Up! workshop, but I gave it away this Christmas. Each one, who was visiting my parents this year on Christmas Eve bought a gift for 5 Euro. We played dice for the gifts and in the end everybody had a 5 Euro gift for their own. I bought a cute bag and put it into my SU box.
inkpads: Memories Artprint Brown
papers: Bazzill CS, Basic Grey PP
accessories: Sheer Ribbon, Spellbinders, Cuttlebug Snowflakes
pencils: Albrecht Dürer Watercolor Pencils, White Gel Pen

I made this card the weekend before Christmas. When you take another look at my card you'll see one of the gifts I got from Santa this year ;) The Spellbinders were one of my biggest wishes this year.

Yes and this little flower was our Christmas buddy. It's unbelievable, but we had this cute little one in one of our balcony boxes. It came from one of our neighbours, as we don't have real flowers in our balcony boxes through the summer. As you can see we didn't have snow here.

Today Sven and me were visiting IKEA. I did need some more of these cute pink boxes and white baskets for my white shelves. As I'm closing my online-store on Wednesday I'll have the shelves for my own now and of course I will fill them with my crafting supplies and stamps. I'll show you some pictures, when I'm ready with everything.

I hope you had a good Christmas time. Did you also eat too much? I think I have 10 pounds more now... But now life is going on normally again. Monday and Tuesday I will have to work in the office, but then I'll have some days free until Jan 6 (including). You know I have to visit the offices and bank because of my shop closing. Then I can start into the new year! What are you planning for New Year's Eve?
WoW! So many beautiful things!! :D
AntwortenLöschenChristmas passes too fast, I agree with you on that!... And yes, I guess I will be doing some excercise tomorrow, to get my conscience clear, because of all the good food and goodies lately!... ;)
New Years Eve will be spent with family. My sister is preparing family dinner in their big house. :) What about you? What are your plans on the very day?... :o)
